Kayak Fishing and Eco Tours in Florida’s Pine Island Sound / Matlacha Pass

For as long as I can remember, I have held a rod in my hand, hoping to feel that familiar twitch that tells me “FISH ON!” My passion for fishing began in freshwater ponds and streams in the Midwest as a small child. From bass, crappie, blue gill and perch fishing in Indiana, to salmon fishing in Michigan, to walleye fishing in Minnesota, I seemed to go where the fish were known to bite... eventually leading me to the lakes and rivers of Colorado, Nevada, and California. Fishing has long been a passion of mine.
I was introduced to offshore salt water fishing at a very young age while visiting my grandparents down here in Southwest Florida. My grandparents are avid fisherpeople... I know I get my passion honestly. For the past 10 years, I have tried my hand at in-shore salt water fishing, and I have to tell you... I am addicted! It’s like fresh water fishing, only better!
Fifteen years ago I was introduced to kayaking. It took one time out and I was hooked! My passion for exploring the estuaries and waterways began. Witnessing nature up close and personal was simply amazing. Bringing my two passions together was only a matter of time.
I have been a kayak fishing and eco-tour guide for six years now. Having the ability to share my passion with so many others is why I love doing what I do. I am fortunate to have the opportunities I do, and I only hope to be able to share them all with you!
